WHO IS ESC PHOTOGRAPHY
BIOGRAPHY
I am an autistic woman who uses photography as a language for feeling.
Where words sometimes fall short, an image holds what I cannot yet say. My camera is a tool for processing emotion, for sitting with a feeling long enough to understand what it is made of. My work is largely introspective and deliberate, a visual record of an internal world that is rich, complex, and constantly in conversation with itself.
Being autistic shapes the way I move through the world and inevitably shapes the way I see it. My photography is an extension of that seeing. It is how I make sense of what I experience, how I examine my emotions, and how I find stillness within complexity.
At its heart, my work is an ongoing act of self examination, one image at a time.
